Jeff Hay was not only our DJ for our wedding but our MC as well – and to be honest we couldn’t have done it without him!!!

From the start of the ceremony until the end of the evening – Jeff was there rocking both of the ceremony and reception venues!!! As soon as we met Jeff we knew we needed him as our MC , we’ve all been to those BORING weddings where the second cousin , old school aunt , or unbearable in law was the MC and people just couldn’t wait to leave – and that was most definitely NOT going to be the way to make our wedding the years “best wedding ever”.

Having Jeff as our MC completely eliminated having any bias of grooms or brides family and allowed there just to be non stop, ongoing , fun and laughter!!

Family and a countless number of our (critical) friends are calling our wedding the “event of the year” – and we truly hold our Dj responsible for this! He had the dance floor rockin until 130 AM , until the venue literally dragged us all out leaving our guests wondering .. “Where is the after party??” , Jeff my only suggestion is – if you’re going to be THAT good at your job , we gotta find a place to do an after party Ha Ha

We had seen DJ Haymaker at a wedding previously and knew we had to have him cover ours. We were not disappointed!

Jeff made the planning process easy and reminded us of those little things we may have overlooked but would regret not having looking back. He gave us great feedback on our ideas and was always so willing to work with us. And our day was PERFECT!

We had an AMAZING time, and all our guests were raving about how awesome the party was. He did everything from MC our day, to make sure everything ran smoothly throughout the course of the evening. He read the crowd to keep the dance floor full and the party going, they literally had to kick us out at the end of the night. All the feedback from our guests was that it was the most fun they had had at a wedding, and wished we could do it all again. The night was perfect… just not long enough 🙂 Thank you so much to Jeff for playing such a huge part in making our day what we always dreamed it would be!

Jeff, we really can’t say enough good things, everyone is still talking about our wedding! I can’t remember what i had told you on the way out of the wedding, it all just feels like it was a dream now but everyone says it was the best wedding they have every been to 🙂

We had been to a couple weddings that Jeff was a part of before, so we were well-aware of how great he is at what he does and we KNEW we needed to have him MC and DJ at our wedding. In fact, we literally chose our wedding day around his availability…. so I guess technically Jeff chose our wedding day – thanks Jeff! The weather was perfect!

Not only did Jeff surpass our already high expectations of hosting a GREAT party, but he was also very helpful along the way. Jeff guided us into choosing our incredible wedding venue as well as an awesome officiant to make it all official. He has seen and done it all so his recommendations and experiences when it comes to venues, venders and almost anything to do with weddings, is completely invaluable.

Weddings are stressful and the day-of can be that way as well. I’m not gonna lie, we totally thought we’d be a little frantic about what time it was, where we needed to be, and what was coming next. But with Jeff there, doing his thing, our stress level quickly went down to zero. He’s got you covered! You can kick back, relax and finally take part in enjoying the great time you’ve spent so long planning!

Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect thanks in large part to Jeff Hay. We can’t recommend him highly enough! Having a wedding without this guy is a ridiculous idea! Get out your cheque book – he’s worth it!

What can we say – Jeff was everything we could ask for, and more! When we first met Jeff, he described himself as an entertainment coordinator, and that’s what he was! He was our DJ for our wedding, our MC for the reception, and above all, he really was our entertainment coordinator for our wedding day!

Jeff was there for us from the very beginning. We first came across Jeff’s services from a friend who had attended a wedding he put on, and heard such amazing things! When we first called him up, he was absolutely great. He gave us so much assurance from the very first call, asking us tons of questions, giving us tons of suggestions, and was very comfortable and had a lot of experience incorporating our two cultures – Chinese and Pakistani – into our wedding day. We were extremely impressed with our initial phone call with him, and even more impressed after meeting him in person to go through the details of our wedding day.

When it came to the actual day, Jeff was on top of his game. He was great in checking in on us, to make sure our day was flowing as planned. His ability to captivate a crowd is absolutely remarkable. He was our MC for the night, and ensured our guests were enjoying their time – incorporating fun facts about the wedding party, and various games. He gave us so much peace of mind during the reception, guiding the night’s events, including our many outfit changes.

But let’s get to the actual party! The dance floor was packed! Jeff has an ability to keep the dance floor going, feeling the crowd for what songs will keep the party going. It was quite amazing! One of the biggest comments we would get from our wedding guests after the event was “Your MC/DJ was amazing!!” He left such an amazing impression on our wedding guests, and us.

Jeff is the pinnacle of what an entertainment coordinator is, and we would highly recommend him to anyone getting married in the area!

DJ Haymaker made our wedding, during the year before our wedding we asked him a ton of questions as we needed help with many different things. He gave us lots of awesome ideas such as doing pictures before the ceremony, which by the way was the best idea ever! It keeps everything flowing without any gaps between the ceremony and the reception, and after the ceremony you can have some time to talk with the guests and have a glass of wine!

A few days before the wedding we met him for coffee again and went over everything to do with the wedding which was a huge stress reliever. He gave us some great ideas in regards to changing some things at the reception which we feel really made a huge difference.

For the ceremony at Cedar Creek Estate Winery he helped choose all the different songs for us walking down the isle and made some suggestions that we would have never thought of that really set the mood for the ceremony right from the start. He also was the MC for the whole wedding and kept everything rolling smoothly on time, he has the ability to read the crowd and kept everyone entertained all night!

The dance floor was going all night and there was never any gaps when the floor was empty, I couldn’t believe almost half the guests were partying with us until 1am! It’s the first wedding i’ve seen that the dance floor was so full all night right to the end!

If your lucky enough to have DJ Haymaker at your wedding you will have memories for life just like we do!

Jeff was instrumental in making our wedding as fantastic as it was. He was equal parts DJ, MC, Wedding Planner, Wedding Coordinator, and Invaluable Resource for Recommendations. Jeff made himself available for a half dozen face-to-face meetings as well as being available anytime for email queries. His recommendations for other professionals in the industry were top-notch; he introduced us to our wedding planner as well as our minister, both were themselves invaluable resources! He was there with us every step of the way in the planning process – he even met with our reception venue coordinator to go over the day with us.

As a DJ/MC, he was incredible. He connected with every one of the bridal party to ensure the most personalized ceremony and reception possible. His music selection was fabulous, and he had everyone – including my 85 year old grandmother! – involved in all of his games. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night and made sure to accommodate all requests – of course keeping my husband and my tastes in mind. I cannot express enough just how amazed I was with Jeff’s services – I give him a 5-Star review, hands down. To anyone who wants THE BEST WEDDING EVER: hire Jeff.

The highest praise I can give is that I would hire him again and recommend his services. Jeff was the consummate professional and on top of that he is lot of fun! The success of my daughter’s wedding was in large part due to Jeff. He orchestrated the whole day and thanks to him everything ran smoothly. His choice of music was superb both for the ceremony and the reception. He acted as DJ and made sure the guests were having a good time. I truly enjoyed working with him and could not be more pleased with the results.

From the moment my fiancé and I booked DJ Haymaker until the moment we said I do, Jeff was nothing but professional, helpful, and just plain awesome. He offered his expertise when needed but also went out of his way to make our wedding day exactly what we envisioned. Here is an interesting one from another wedding professional!!  Her brothers wedding!

I was not the bride at the wedding but I was everything else, the planner, the florist, the photographer, the sister of the groom, plus I had three of my own young kids attending.  I felt a lot of pressure for everything to go smoothly so when Jeff showed up and took over it was such a relief.  He is a wedding expert and understands the flow of a wedding, how to keep people entertained, and is extremely well spoken.  As a DJ he keeps the dance floor hopping all night long and has the ability to read a crowd and play music without being “told” or “asked”.  And his smile and demeanor just prove that he loves what he does!  Thanks Jeff, because of you I actually got to sit back and enjoy my brothers wedding.

Jeff was the best to work with for our wedding! Not only was he an amazing DJ but he also:

-Did the music for the ceremony and signaled when everyone was supposed to go down the aisle…

-MCed the reception and did an awesome job making everyone laugh with his wild and outlandish introductions of the bridal party…

-He was an extremely big help to the bride! You can call him anytime and talk about anything good or bad about your wedding. He offers to be the in between for vendors and does not mind jumping in and telling everyone else to back down or do things a different way if its not to your liking. I called several times about music and ended up venting about other things that had happened and he was a huge help with solutions and just a friendly ear.

-He had a timeline which he gives to you to go through and make changes to if need be for the whole day. He is very organized and had a package for me to fill out about everything he could possibly need, mine kept changing a lot with the bridal party but he was great and on top of it. For those who aren’t very good at making decisions or know what you want he is perfect! He has so many ideas and great music choices even if you have a couple must plays he fills everything else in for you and makes it a party!

On top of that his DJing skills were awesome!He has several games to play and lots of Fun props to use. His survival game is lots of fun and super funny. He gets everyone, young and old, into the games. Everyone had a blast with them and they were hilarious to watch! Everyone was laughing and smiling AND on the dance floor, it was never empty!

During and after the reception he was one of the main things everyone was talking about with how awesome everything went. How great the ceremony was and how perfect the music was for it and how everything flowed so well with the ceremony and reception. From the hilarious introductions to the games the got everyone out of their seats. He had great flow and just knew exactly what to do at each moment to keep everyone happy. Even now several weeks after our wedding people are talking about how awesome and beautiful it was and how much more amazing the DJ made it.

Not only did he make sure the guests had fun but he also made sure we were having fun. He kept making sure we had time to ourselves and breaks to just enjoy the day and kept reminding us to not stress and just have fun together. That it was our day and we could do what we want to enjoy it together. It goes by so fast and you are so busy sometimes you just forget to enjoy what you have spent so long planning but with Jeff around he made sure we didn’t!

He was supportive of everything and just gave us the peace of mind to just not stress and enjoy our day.

We and all our guests had a great time and it was a day that none of us will forget and Jeff is one of the big reasons for that.

Jeff Hay was an amazing DJ, he really made our party. It was such a small wedding with mostly just family I was afraid that the party would be a flop but Jeff got us rocking with his great energy, fun games, and amazing musical knowledge.

He learned people’s names and had lots of great interaction with all of the guests all night long, always knowing what to play to keep people moving.

And the best part was the compliments afterwards. Everyone at the party really enjoyed themselves and wanted to know where we found such an awesome DJ.
