Hi Jeff!

HUGE thank you for all your hard work, wow! Could not have pulled it off without you that is for sure! I am waiting for some pictures myself, I am sure there are some funny ones! I will send to you when I get some. We went to a birthday party last night and all our friends are still talking about how much fun they had, especially the “McCabe Robinson Mash Up” you did followed by “Shout” … one friend said it was the best 12 minutes of her life! hah!

Here is my review for your web page and I added it to the Wedding Wire and Facebook too.

The video that Brendan and I did is probably so bad because we were pretty tipsy haha, I think I meant to say you looked like Bryan Baeumler …not Mike Holmes. Bryan is the best HGTV Host out there so don’t worry it’s a win for you! Anyways!

Having Jeff Hay as our wedding DJ was the best decision we made in the entire planning process. Our goal was simple : best wedding ever. And it was accomplished thanks to DJ Haymaker.

He was so organized, professional, and knew how to help keep the day on track. Because of him we were able to relax and have fun.

It was also the little things he did such as coordinate with the banquet staff to adjust timing when we were running behind, special sound effects during speeches, being cued into our wishes, always watching me for signs, hilarious introductions, interacting with guests, making sure our grandparents were having fun and playing a song for them to dance to, providing a box of costumes and hats that we loved, and keeping the dance floor full at all times!

I couldn’t imagine our wedding without him and I really appreciate all the time and care he put into getting to know us before and helping to quarterback the best day of our lives!

We had a blast! “Best Wedding Ever” is all I have been hearing from our guests. All of our family and friends have been raving about how well the wedding went; from the beautiful venue at Summerhill Winery to the highly entertaining DJ/MC. You were so professional yet fun and easy to talk to at the same time.

The way you brought all of our friends and family together with your games was amazing. Your music choices and suggestions were just perfect. I have never seen a dance floor that packed for the entire night.

Our wedding couldn’t have went any better. With so many things going on throughout the day you made it all happen so seamlessly. By the end of the night it felt like you were one of our best friends.

We couldn’t be any happier with the way our wedding day went. Our wedding was flawless, fun, hilarious and so fitting to our personalities.

Our wedding was amazing thanks to Jeff Hay. His services include so much more than just music. He was there to help us with set up a timeline for the day, helped MC our wedding and kept our guests entertained for the whole day from his excellent ceremony music to the packed dance floor at the end of the night. Jeff was able to choose music that suited the crowd which led to our dance floor being full the entire night. He also played a few games with the guests which helped keep everyone entertained. After our wedding not only did everyone say it was the best wedding ever, but they were still talking about Jeff a week later!

Jeff truly took our wedding from great to spectacular. He played the music at our ceremony and was able to find every odd song request we came up with. I was a little hesitant about playing games at our reception as most of the games I’ve seen in the past have been corny or tacky. He asked me to trust him and let him do a few games – BEST DECISION EVER.

We played 3 games/ice breakers and everyone had a blast. It got everyone out of their seats, even my uncle who is too shy to even come to family dinners. As the games were being played I moved around from table to table and I had so many people tell me how much fun it was and how it was such a great idea. An idea that I couldn’t take any credit for as it was all Jeff!

Our guests had an amazing time at our wedding and it was mainly because we had Jeff entertaining us. He also helped our MCs out by taking over halfway through the night so that they could enjoy the party and he was great!

I would recommend Jeff’s services to anyone and everyone, and if you are on the fence about hiring him – DO IT! You will not regret it!

Before Greg and I even got engaged, we knew Jeff would be the DJ at our wedding. My best friend had him at her wedding and he did such an amazing job that we immediately got our phones out and took his phone number down. After we called our family and friends, Jeff was the next phone call after we got engaged! When it finally came down to planning our reception, he had such great ideas – we completely trusted him, especially since we had already seen him action.

Our reception was held in my parent’s airplane hanger on their property but Jeff was totally comfortable with the unusual space. He worked the room and our crowd with ease. One of the greatest things about Jeff that night though was that he gave us as much time as we needed to connect with family and friends. He checked in with us often to see how everything was going but didn’t make us feel like we were being pressured to wrap up our conversations.

Once the dancing started, that’s when we really started having a lot of fun! Greg’s little sister and aunt, both of whom have disabilities, got up and were dancing away and Jeff made sure that they were very much included, giving them special shout outs all night. And that Bickert mashup! Wow! We hadn’t laughed that hard in a very long time! All of our guests have told us that they had such a fun time at our reception.

There were so many great things about that evening but Jeff really was the highlight. We couldn’t have asked for a better party and would recommend him in a heartbeat. In fact, friends of ours are getting married next summer at my parents as well and have contacted Jeff already! We are so excited to have him come back! Thanks again Jeff!

We are so happy we went with DJ HayMaker for our wedding. Don’t let the title ‘DJ’ fool you; he is soooo much more!

A true professional, he took the time to get to know us, had a ton of great insight and suggestions to provide based on his experiences (we honestly didn’t know a lot about weddings as neither of us had been to many!), was available for any questions we or our MC had (he was an amazing help to her!!) and made all of us feel comfortable with how the day would unfold. He was pivotal in making sure the everything rolled along smoothly by queuing us on when to do what; trust me, it is needed when you are in a room of 120 guests, the day has been a whirlwind and there are a number of activities that have to happen!

When it came to music, DJ HayMaker made sure he knew our taste. We like it funky and he delivered. We gave him a list of 10 must have songs and from that, along with reading the mood of our guests on the dance floor, he rocked it! What a great party! Our guests are still raving about how much fun he was.

We cannot say enough about Jeff and the absolutely stellar job he did. He truly loves his work and it shows. We would recommend him to our closest friends and family!!

We completely lucked out when we booked DJ Haymaker as our DJ and MC for our wedding! With a small guest list, DJ Haymaker got everyone involved with games, great music and lots of laughs. We had numerous guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been too. He made it easy for family members who had not previously met to mingle and get to know one another. His introductions of the wedding party were hilarious and his demeanour towards us and our families was respectful and sincere. He took considerable time to get to know us and as a result of our pre-wedding meetings, we felt stress-free and at ease. Jeff was our DJ for my wife’s surprise 40th Bday party. He kept the 70’s party rocking all night and came dressed as part of the gang.

He was very thorough, in helping plan the night and making sure everything went smooth. The party was AWESOME, and our friends were raving about it for weeks.

I would book DJ Haymaker anytime!!

I was skeptical about why we should hire a dj when we could just have a friend handy with a iPod.

From the moment I arrived at the church I realized Jeff was greatly needed as he took charge and ensured everyone was in place, calm and excited! Everything went on without a hitch.

Our guests loved the games and Jeff’s sense of humour. He was able to direct his charisma towards the group and everyone had a blast. People are still talking and I think that will continue!

Not only was he awesome, he IS an awesome genuine person. Worth every penny and more!!!
