We had seven different people come up to us during the wedding asking where we found such a great dj. Some of the comments were, “he is fantastic”, “how did you ever find him”, “he knows how to keep a party going” and much more. All I know is that when everyone at the wedding is having such a great time, the vibe is amazing and it helped make our special day one of the most memorable moments of our life.

Thank you Jeff, for all your help. Everything from the planning of the wedding to your role as an MC, the exciting games, and the fantastic music selection came together in a way that our guests will never forget. It’s already three weeks later and people are still talking about our wedding.

We are in the airport, on the way back from our honeymoon, and Mike and I would like to take the time to send you a sincere THANK YOU for the amazing job you did at our wedding and all the days leading up to our big day.

Right from the beginning you were a huge help with the planning process, including music choices, reception games, appropriate time scheduling and everything in between. Mike and I knew that we could count on you to not only be fun, but professional on our big day. Everything went off smoother than we could have imagined, right from the ceremony through to the last
dance.

Not only were you a fabulous DJ, but your emcee skills are amazing! Everyone at the wedding, young and old, commented on the great time they had. Many of our guests visiting from out of country admitted that “we Canadians sure know how to have a party!”.

Our day was elegant and romantic as well as a great party and we have you to thank. We couldn’t be happier and we will absolutely recommend you to anyone looking to make their big day, or any event for that matter, a complete success!!

Carol and I would like to thank you so VERY much for what you did for our ceremony and reception. From the second I called you on the phone, I was extremely impressed with your enthusiasm, professionalism and all out attitude. As you know, we had to plan everything from a distance due to the fact we live in Langley and had the ceremony and reception in Kelowna. Regardless of that fact, you made us feel at ease by your kind, caring demeanor. From our very first conversations MONTHS before our special day, I felt as though you truly cared about us. You made us feel as though we were long time friends by the ways in which you conversed with us the entire time. We also had the pleasure of meeting you a few months before our wedding date of June 1st and after over an hour of straight conversation, you made us feel completely at ease and confident that our special day would be memorable. As well, you provided us great insight as to how we wanted to approach the reception, providing some great game and “fun factor” ideas.

The ambiance you created by playing fantastic music prior, during and after the ceremony was truly wonderful. You were able to capture through your music exactly how we wanted our ceremony to look and feel. On top of the mood you helped create, you even ensured the guys were all at ease prior to the ceremony, so thank you so much for that!

The reception was a complete blast! With our “how well do you know” quiz providing the backbone, you took the ball and ran with it. Our guests after the reception were amazed at the fact that you and I had only met just months before June 1st. The way you spoke to our audience throughout the evening, starting from addressing many directly by name, right up to providing the children who attended a “tickle trunk” of toys to play with, you took care of everyone as if they were your own family. It was extremely touching how much care and attention you brought to the entire evening. To this day, months later, those attending claim to have been part of not only the best wedding they have ever attended, but the best PARTY they have ever had a pleasure to be a part of. And that’s exactly the key…they were a PART of our celebration. With your games, conversation and antics, you made our family and friends truly part of something special. Like you and I discussed prior to the event…this is OUR gift to them…..and I have a feeling it will be a gift they will treasure forever!

We had heard about Jeff Hay through The Harvest where we were booking our wedding for May 2008 back in August 2007. We had never had much experience with wedding planning, so we decided to meet with him first for an initial consultation. We had spent about 30 minutes talking about what we wanted and what Jeff’s services could offer with Dj’ing and MC’ing. We booked him right away, we thought he had really good energy and seemed very fun.

On the day of the wedding, we both weren’t sure quite what to expect because other weddings we had been to had been formal and stuffy during reception and not alot of fun. Jeff Hay was quite the opposite. We had the most amazing night of our lives, and couldn’t have asked for a better night, and we owe it all to Jeff.

We played games, had quizzes and everyone at every table was included and into it. I heard “who is this guy…he is great!” the entire evening. Still, a week later we are still hearing “that was the best wedding I have ever been to”.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and MC…it made the night!

Hi Jeff, sorry for the long wait. Laura and just got back from a wedding/ memorial weekend on the coast. We did however get some quality time with Laura’s family and little of mine again. Our families and friends couldn’t say enough good thing about the wedding. We heard comments like, ‘an unforgetable experience’ to ‘the most fun we’ve ever had at a wedding’. From the youngest to the oldest guests, everyone just loved it. Survivor was by far the most fun event for most people. It really brought the best out of most people. The ones that weren’t actively involved and having fun, had just as much fun watching from the sidelines.

Laura and I both agree that there really wasn’t anything that could have made the evening better.

I look forward to attending your next event, whether it be another wedding or other special event.

We would like to thank you for the wonderful wedding you helped us achieve. Every time we run into a guest from our wedding they keep telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. They all keep asking when we will be throwing the next event. We have had many compliments on how smoothly everything went and you are the one to truly thank for that. I just wanted to write and tell you how thankful we are that you were part of our wedding day! You made the entire party. Everything went so seamless. We’ve had so many compliments on what a good job you did.

Thanh and I are both so thrilled with everything you did for us. We had a fantastic time and so did our guests. We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they’d every been to. This included my 82 year old grampa. And he’s been to quite a few weddings in his day. Everyone loved the games and fun things we did during dinner.

We are definitely basking in the glory of newlywed land. Aside from the fact that I got hit in the face with a baseball at our game last night, we are doing really great!
I have been meaning to email you but it’s soooooo hard to find the right words to describe the contribution you made towards our wedding.

The very first time Adam and I met you we were thoroughly impressed. You got us soooo excited for our big day, we couldn’t wait for our next meeting with you. The following months you provided us with so much guidance and so many ideas for planning our big day.

As a DJ, I expected tips on music and that was it. You went above and beyond our expectations. You helped us with transportation ideas, came up with an itinerary for how the night was going to play out, helped us with locations and so on. As a bride to be, you definitely took the pressure off. We knew we were in great hands and that we had nothing to worry about. The day & night of the wedding could not have played out any better.

You really had a good sense of what our guests wanted and liked. You were also the Master of Ceremonies for our reception and many of our friends thought that you had known us for years, they had no idea that you were somebody we hired.
To this day, we still get compliments from families and friends on how much fun the wedding was and that it was ‘The best time I’ve every had’. I wish that we could take all the credit but it definitely goes to you. Thanks for making our wedding an unforgettable experience for us, our families and our friends.
