Thank-you so much for making our wedding so special. I don’t think anyone,including ourselves will ever forget the incredible night they had.

From the moment we booked you, right up to the wedding you were always there to offer suggestions and input whenever we needed some ideas. The wedding itself was a blast. Everyone we spoke to said it was by far the best wedding they have attended. There was never a dull moment. The fun and laughs lasted through to the very last dance. The Survivor game and shoe game were a big hit with everyone.

As we look back at our pictures, we see nothing but people laughing and having fun.
Thank-you so much for making our wedding a day we will never forget.

Dear Jeff,

Wow. We (Reid and Chad) are finding it hard to put into words just how much we appreciate all that you did for us. From the day we met you (don’t worry, I’ll share that story near the end of this “thank-you”) – to the planning process – to the ceremony – to the reception, you truly helped create a very special and memorable day that we will never forget. Throughout the past year, we found it hard at times to plan a wedding that was going to occur 700km from our home (Calgary, AB). But as always, you came to the rescue and we enjoyed working with you to plan a special day full of events and activities that went off without a hitch (well, I guess there was one hitch – after all, Reid and I were hitched – I know, that joke was totally lame). Your ideas and your vision truly helped to create many wonderful memories that we will never forget (and neither will our guests).

Oh yeah, lets talk about our guests. First of all, you were a huge hit with every person that attending our wedding. From the small children to our older (and wiser) relatives, we have heard nothing but great feedback about your services. Your games (Survivor and the Shoe Game) were potentially the hit of the millenium with all of our guests (especially the Dinos Women’s Volleyball Team from the University of Calgary). At the same time, the sincerity in your voice and your wonderful words of encouragement and support throughout the evening were truly appreciated.

I feel it is important to tell you a little bit about the way that Reid and I first met Jeff. Please keep in mind that neither Reid nor myself is from Kelowna, so on one of our few free weekends, we decided to head to Kelowna and explore potential wedding venues. We visited several sites throughout the weekend and walked into the Manteo Resort at ~2:00pm one Saturday afternoon. We peeked into the ballroom and accidentally ran into a well-mannered gentleman who looked like he knew his way around the place. I mentioned that Reid and myself were looking for a venue to book and the man generously offered to answer any questions that we had and even took us on a mini tour of the hotel and its grounds. We talked and shared ideas and he also gave us the names and phone numbers of decorators, caterers and party rental companies that he could highly recommend. We must have spent well over an hour with him before it even occurred to me that I never caught this gentleman’s name. I was shocked when he said that his name was Jeff Hay and that he was setting up to MC and DJ for a wedding reception later that day. Reid and I couldn’t believe that Jeff had just taken an hour and a half out of his set-up time just to show us around and answer all of the questions that we had. We booked Jeff for our big day immediately and have since confirmed that Jeff is truly the best DJ / wedding planner that we have ever seen.

Jeff, thank you for participating in our wedding. We could not have done it without you and we will forever remember the most special day of our lives – a day that you helped to create. We just wanted to thank you so much for everything you did for us. Everyone had an awesome time and loved how much you were involved. You made all the planning so effortless and fun from the moment we met you. We loved all your innovated ideas and how well they turned out. You were a lot of fun and we would recommend you to everyone that needs a DJ. You are much more than a DJ, you are AWESOME!

If we had a dollar for every time we heard “that was the best wedding ever” or ” how did you ever find such an amazing DJ, he made the night” or our personal favourite “Is he a relative of yours; because he sure seems to know you guys pretty well” WE WOULD BE RICH!

Words can’t express what you did for our wedding!
Although the venues for our ceremony and reception were both beautiful, the wedding would not have been nearly as successful had you not been there to DJ it for us! I have had numerous people tell me it was the funniest wedding they have ever been to! My cousin from the island vows to get married here if you’re still DJ-ing when it comes time for her wedding!! People from age ranges 7 to 86 commented on what an awesome DJ you were!

You were SO accomodating with traditions that we were not comfortable with and through your experience you were able to give us some really good, original ideas that were a big part of our wedding being a hit!! I honestly have to say that I had a wedding that I never dreamed could be that good and it was mostly part to you taking care of the DJ-ing (playing EVERY single song we requested) and MC-ing it for us as well…..what a load off!! It sure beat the semi-funny “uncle Fred” doing it for us!!!

The games that were played, Survivor and the shoe game, were HUGE hits!! And not uncomfortable ones that people dread playing either!!

If there’s anybody out there that isn’t sure they want to budget the money for a DJ and wants to do it themselves……..YOU”RE SO WRONG!!!! It is THE BEST investment you will make for your wedding! I can GUARANTEE you, you won’t be sorry for hiring Jeff to do your wedding. He will keep your whole audience entertained through the whole wedding!! There wasn’t a single song played that there weren’t people up dancing to, all night!

My wife and I had seen Jeff at two weddings before our own and we couldn’t wait to have him be our entertainment on our big day.

When we started planning our wedding a year and a half ago, Jeff was the first reservation that we made and were sure about. We had seen many weddings before and we had no doubt that we were getting the best in the business.

Jeff wore many different hats at our wedding (literally!!), he was our MC, DJ, comedian and our game show host. It came as no surprise when all of our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had, especially the ones from out of town who had never seen Jeff’s work before. Jeff’s knowledge of weddings and his willingness to perfect the details on our day was priceless. We cannot thank him enough!!!

Hey Jeff,

Our wedding on July 4, 2008 at Summerhill Winery is still talked about by our guests after two months. Our decorations were beautiful, the food good but everyone is still talking about our d.j./ emcee Jeff Hay. Our guests still come up to us and tell our families that our wedding was the most fun and the best wedding they have ever been to AND it is all thanks to Jeff Hay.

We hired Jeff about 8 months before our wedding. Well we had to, after every contact we had in Kelowna insisted that we use Jeff as our d.j./emcee. Everyone we talked to said he was by far the best d.j. in Kelowna. Well he was more then a d.j. He helped in planning our wedding day itinerary, he recommended other contacts that we could use, planned quizzes, songs, and games. He was there for us all along the way and gave us a sense of ease because we had nothing to worry about with Jeff running the show. Guests came up to my husband and I throughout the evening asking if Jeff was a relative of one of us. We said no, and they replied “He seems like he knows you both so well.” That was such an amazing compliment for Jeff, showing us that he did such an amazing job Emceeing our wedding. He knew how to read the crowd and presented a fun, relaxing atmosphere perfectly suited for our guests.

Thanks to Jeff for making our day the “best wedding ever” for us and our guests. A wedding that will be talked about for years to come!!

Your are more then welcome! Caleb and I were just watching our wedding video this morning and we still can’t believe how amazing you made our wedding. You are truly meant to be a d.j./ emcee, you are an amazing person with so much talent and personality, you were put on earth to make people smile and laugh and we are so glad we had you as a huge part of our special day… we will never forget you and the effort you have made and I know our guests won’t either.

Actually, we were just at another wedding last night and I realized how important a good emcee and d.j. really is to a wedding…. actually I would probably say you are second from the dress!

While planning for our wedding day, our thoughts turned to the entertainment. We wanted a DJ. After asking a few people in “the Kelowna wedding community” who to consider, one name was repeatedly recommended – Jeff Hay.

Our first impression of Jeff was that hes passionate about what he does; his enthusiasm shows. We knew immediately from our meeting that Jeff was the right guy for us. Not only was he prepared to help with the music and respect our preferences, but he helped plan the entire day. Our wedding was a team effort; just as important to him, as it was to us.

On the big day, wireless microphones at the service and reception made it easy to hear, and gave us the ability to roam. The games and activities we had planned throughout the evening went smoothly with Jeff acting as our MC. And the music, right from first to last dances seemed to be exactly what everyone wanted to hear.

Everyone we have spoken with since the wedding have had nothing but praise for Jeff, and they all want to know how we found our DJ. I said it was easy; we just listened to the people that knew. If you’re looking for a DJ who is willing to personally invest in your celebration, then you need to hire Jeff Hay!

We would just like to sincerely thank you for a great wedding! When asked how our wedding was, our family and friends immediately comment on what a great DJ we had…their words describing your work were awesome, incredible, amazing, just to name a few and we wholeheartedly agree.

You’re not only an amazing DJ, you made sure the night went flawlessly. And your assistance with our flower fiasco was very much appreciated.

We could not have imagined our wedding being any more memorable, exciting or fun, and we definately have you to thank for that. From the moment we met you, we knew we were in good hands. The attention to detail from the very start was incredible. You truly showed passion for what you do.

Since the wedding we have had so many people tell us that you were the best DJ/MC/Planner they had seen. We were able to talk to you many times – even though we live 800km away – you were always very enthusiastic about our ideas, and had helpful suggestions for every little detail. The games were a blast ( it seems you left out just the right amount of details to keep the games equally fun for us as well). Survivor, the Shoe Game and all the creative ways to challenge the klinking of the glasses were all a huge hit with our families and friends. It really got everyone involved – we are still hearing about the friendships that were formed at our wedding. The videos and photos are full of smiles and laughter – it was the most perfect wedding that we could ever have imagined, and we were able to sit back and enjoy the whole day.

Jeff Hay is not only the best DJ we have ever experienced, but is the best decision we have made for our wedding! He helped during the planning stages of our wedding, and his enthusiasm was contagious! He was so great to talk to, he even helped sort out some last minute changes we encountered and put us at ease while planning a wedding from out of town. He helped with all the various needs of our wedding ceremony, allowing us to relax and not worry about the details of the day – we knew Jeff was there so we weren’t worried a bit!

Jeff knew what was most important to us and kept the whole day organized, extremely fun, and entertaining. The dance floor was packed for the whole reception. Other friends who are getting married in the next year were asking if we would mind if they booked Jeff that same night, even though they hadnt even booked a location for their wedding yet!

Overall Jeff was fantastic, better than we could have even imagined. He had to talk me into doing a few games and I am so glad he did. He kept it light and fun and I could tell everyone enjoyed every minute of the evening, I know that Jason and I did. The whole day was absolutely perfect, the guests are still talking about our wedding and especially the great job we did in choosing a DJ/MC. I dont think we can take any of the credit; we owe it all to Jeff!!! Cant thank him enough.
