DJ Haymaker was a fantastic addition to our wedding day.

He met with us on more than one occasion prior to our wedding and took a genuine interest in what we wanted for our wedding ceremony and reception.  He brought great enthusiasm and attention to detail to our day.  He knows people and knows how to work a crowd and make an event flow.  He had many suggestions for games to get people up and moving and while we were a bit hesitant at first we eventually decided that he knew more than we did about what works and what doesn’t and that it was best to just let him do his thing. We had no regrets.

From the “Survivor” game to his supply of goofy hats he was a hit with our guests, many of whom took the time to tell us what a great job he did and how much fun they had. He assisted with countless technical details throughout the day which freed us up to enjoy ourselves.

Jeff has taken the role of “DJ” to new heights and we have no hesitation recommending him!!

DJ Haymaker played at our Wedding on June 20th, 2009 and he was amazing!
He kept our wedding guests entertained by keeping their energy up with all the wonderful games played. He knew how to handle the horrid tinkling of glasses in such a classy manner by making guests work for our kisses. Our Wedding was elegant and fun … all the guests had a great time … even family members who never dance at weddings, and we’ve been to many weddings, were up dancing and having a blast! By the end of the night we had so many guests thanking us for an amazing and fun experience.

You know it was a great party when guests who have kids fore warn you that they will be leaving early and then they are one of the last few sticking around. When I asked my friends why they stayed so long they said they were having too much fun to leave and the music was so awesome that they just had to stay and they were sad the night was over.

Jeff Hay is a classy guy, who is witty and sounds great behind a microphone. I am confident he can handle the most challenging of crowds, just as my family was. I can’t say how thankful we are for his expertise and his ideas that we had not considered. Jeff does not disapoint … the only disappointment would be if you couldn’t book him for your special day…

I truly feel that having Jeff as our DJ was the best wedding decision we made. I was an out of town bride and completely lost as to where to start even planning my wedding. Jeff was a tremendous help he suggested venues, JP’s and Rev’s and caterers. It was all fabulous, I wouldn’t have changed anything. Once I arrived in town I finally got to meet Jeff in person.  He took time to hear my wedding vision and used his experience to suggest things that I never would have thought of not just for the music but the timing and flow of the evening. We really went over almost all aspects of our special day and Jeff had so many ideas on how to make it even better than I could have imagined.

At our reception countless numbers of our guests came up to us and said it was most fun wedding they had ever attended. You should see my facebook home page!!! So many people couldn’t believe how much fun they had!! The dance floor was packed all night, there were really no dull moments. I was also able to sit back and relax and not worry about a thing. Jeff was always on step ahead anticipating our needs and liaising with the caterer. I honestly can’t say enough he was fantastic, definitely the DJ Supreme!

Erin and I just wanted to thank you again for the brilliant job you did at our wedding at Summerhill Winery last week. When we were planning our wedding we heard from several people that you were the best and now we know why. You kept us sane in the weeks leading up to the big dayby making us feel like you had everything under control, and you did.Our day went off without a hitch, and you were a huge part of that! Youare far far more than a DJ, you were running the show!

The reception was stellar, I can’t tell you the number of times people have told us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of the little “extras” you incorporated into the reception between the dinner and the dancing really got our guests ready to party! ” Survivor” was so much fun, people were practically rolling on the floor laughing, and the music was great – the dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and I’ve never seen that at a wedding before.

We actually had a few or our guests that though you were a close friend of ours because you were so personal and knew us so well, and our reception matched our personalities perfectly.

Thank you for everything, it’s a party our guests won’t soon forget, and either will we. The only thing that would have made if better was if it lasted another hour or two, people didn’t want to leave. We will bereferring you to everyone we know. Great job Jeff!  Thank YOU!!

Everyone says that our wedding was incredible. They said it was very fun. I know that a big part of this was because of our DJ.

Not only did he make our event a fun and exciting one he also helped us with some of our wedding planning. My husband and I were clueless on how to set up the hall for the best atmosphere so he helped us with that. He also helped us plan out what would happen and when. We were unsure about what song we would like and he gave us some input there for songs to walk down the aisle to.

Overall our wedding was amazing and a big part of that was because we chose
DJ Haymaker.

You can quote all this stuff coming from myself and Melissa, as well as numerous people I have spoken with from the wedding.

“The Dj (Jeff) was just outstanding. As our chosen MC/DJ for our wedding he was very professional and kept our time line in order, he kept our guests very entertained.  It was great how Jeff got to know us in the previous months and understood what we liked, he then did a few really enjoyable things at our wedding that we didn’t even know about and it just showed he really cared and it made the day/night even better.

Since this was our first wedding, if we had questions about certain things that go on at a wedding, we were able to ask Jeff and he helped us out, he was kind of like a wedding planner!  Jeff’s music and games at the reception were amazing, his newlywed and survivor game were just great!  They kept the whole room entertained, the survivor game is perfect because it involves everyone and it is great for all ages of guests.

Jeff’s music just blew everyone away, we had people dancing, like my uncle and aunt that my grandma had never even seen dance before, the dance floor seemed to be full all night it was unreal!  Jeff (DJ Haymaker) was great and we thank him very very much for making our wedding day and night perfect!”

Dagney and I really appreciate the help and suggestions that you provided in our meetings before the wedding. You are an invaluable resource in the planning stages of the event as well. At the wedding we really felt like you had know us for years even though we had only met a few times.

Thank you so much for all your planning and hard work at our wedding.  I kept thinking “wow, this is a really long day for him!”.

From day one, you were pumped to have us as clients, and we were thrilled to have you as our partner in crime… we feel like you’re our friend now! Your goal was to have everyone say “that was the best wedding ever!”, which made us challenged to make it the “best wedding” that you had ever DJ’d! Thank you for always checking in and providing us with loads of information on how you were going to make our day special as well as making sure that we stayed excited!  You went above and beyond your normal duties to search out and provide a keyboard, wireless mics and even purchased a new power cell for us! We really appreciated all these little details, including wearing our wedding colours at the ceremony and reception!

We loved the “Survivor” game and the endless tickle trunk of hats. You were so personable with our guests as you remembered many names and integrated them into games and roasts. You totally worked the room…we loved it! Only you can make my mom dance to Sir Mix A lot and encourage others to rub their bums on their partner’s bum!

I had to email you to let you know what an incredible job you did. We  are still getting comments from our guests about what a terrific  wedding it was and Lyndsay and Jeremiah got their wish of wanting people to say it was the best wedding and definitely the most fun they  had been to. We owe a lot of that to you, you were awesome. You can  be sure we will be giving your name out to everyone we know and I hope you will still be in the business when Jimmy decides to settle down, although he is enjoying being single right now after having dated the same girl for 5 years, so could be a while.

We met Jeff a couple of years ago when he was the dj at our friend’s wedding in Kelowna. We only knew 3 people at the wedding including the bride and groom, but Jeff’s fun games and outgoing personality helped to create instant connections with all of the wedding guests. We had such a blast at the wedding that we couldn’t stop talking about it. It was definintely the best wedding we had ever been to. Halfway through the night, I was determined that Jeff would be the dj for our wedding. Though I wasn’t even engaged yet, my boyfriend, Mark, and I had been together for 7 years and we knew that a wedding was definitely in our future. I talked to Jeff that night, got his business card and asked him if he would still be a dj in about 2 years because I would love for him to be our dj once our wedding day finally came.

Eventually Mark and I did get engaged and when it came time to book the dj, we knew there was only one person that we wanted. We didn’t even look for anyone else and I quickly found his business card that I had been holding onto. Though Jeff may be more expensive than some djs, he is definitely worth it! We knew that even if we had to cut corners on other wedding costs, the dj was the one person who would make or break the party. We were thrilled when Jeff was available and he was willing to come to Sicamous to be our mc and dj for our wedding on May 9, 2009. We had raved to all of our friends and family so much about Jeff and he did not disappoint.

Bringing together a room full of strangers, he was able to create an atmosphere of fun and excitement. Even some of the most reserved people came out of their shells, thanks to his numerous games and amazing hats. Where else would you see your husband’s grandma wearing an 80s rockstar wig? The feedback that we have gotten from our wedding has been nothing but positive. Everyone says that they had such a fun night and that it was truly the best wedding that they have ever been to!!! Even when the power went out a few times in the good old Sicamous Legion, the party continued thanks to Jeff! He was a tremendous dj and mc. Everyone thought that he was a friend of ours since he seemed to know us both so well. I believe that our wedding was definitely one that our guests will never forget and it is definitely a tough wedding to follow. Mark and I would definitely recommend Jeff to other couples who want their wedding to be memorable and who want their guests to have a great time. Jeff will help to make your wedding day the best day of your life, just like he did for us!!!
