DJ Haymaker is always a hit at the YMCA of Okanagan’s annual holiday party. He has been our DJ of choice every year (going on 5 years) because he ensures our staff are active participants in the fun activities, fostering teamwork and above all, laughs! Every year, Jeff comes with new and fresh ideas to make the night one to remember. As the head of our party’s planning committee, I had a lot of game ideas for 2017. Jeff has the ability to balance our wants and needs, as well as provide his expertise to make our game ideas successful. In addition, we always like to throw him curve balls, like this year when we wanted to have a staff support as an MC. Jeff was more than accommodating, providing them with specific direction and tasks, all while making them feel valued and comfortable. His charisma and creativity on the fly make memorable moments that our staff and volunteers talk about for months after the party. With an attendance of over 200 staff and volunteers, we could not pull off this party without him. From all the staff and volunteers at the Y, thank you Jeff!

Like I had mentioned when we first talked, this was our first National Sales Meeting since the merge of our two divisions and we needed to make ABSOLUTELY SURE that people were going to have a FUN TIME together!
Well the SURVIVORS GAME did it BIG TIME! You were right, it was the best thing to do to launch a great evening!
You were so quick to feel the group and I know that it was largely due to your experience! Everyone enjoy SURVIVOR and everyone is still talking about it being the best thing they’ve seen!

Jeff Hay June 25, 2010We had the immense pleasure of having djhaymaker as the main stage for entertainment recently at a retirement party in Interior Health. Jeff was able to move the evening from the formal speeches immediately and gracefully into a group adult party “survivor” game which resulted in many attendees absolutely belly laughing. The energy in the room never seized from this point on until closing largely due to Jeff’s amazing ability to read the crowd needs, to tastefully joke with the crowd and of course to play his incredible mix of music. I have never been to a function in which every single person, including the venue staff, were dancing at one time. Jeff’s ability to remember names and specifics about certain people that spoke that night or that participated in main roles in the party games was remarkable and polished off an overall positive, fun and very professional service. Hiring djhaymaker is unlike hiring a regular “dj” – instead you will receive an experience unlike any other I have witnessed in the Okanagan. Numerous guests that evening as well as the guest being honored remarked this was the most fun they had had in years.” I highly recommend djhaymaker and hope to host another “just because” event for IH employees as we all need more belly laughing, exercise and pure fun!!!
