Absolutely wow! I have to say right from the beginning of wedding planning to dancing the night away our experience with Jeff and Jennifer was a breeze! We are from out of town and were worried about not being able to meet before booking however, Jeff put a nice personal touch right from the get go in setting up a phone date to really get to know us. Throughout the planning process both Jeff and Jennifer were 100% present, I never waited more than 24hrs for a response if it wasn’t immediate. Jeff asked all the right questions to get to know our guests and what type of music, games and interaction would keep the party going all night long.

The day of went off without a hitch. From our wedding music to bridal party introductions and then dancing into the wee hours of the night Jeff coordinated perfectly with our Emcee’s to figure out the perfect combination. We had many people chatting afterwards about how much they learned about us when Jeff did a how well do you know the bride/groom game to get the dinner service started. His upbeat, fun yet professional personality made our guest feel comfortable and really got the party started during dinner!

Song after song people danced at the night away. We don’t ever remember a moment when the dance floor was empty and people raved all night about how perfect the music was. Our guests also mentioned to us that they’ve been to multiple weddings in the last year and ours was by far the funnest and most memorable.

Thank you so much for being an instrumental part of our day and doing such a great job! Our friends know us as being the dancing/party couple and the reception was a perfect reflection of us! Couldn’t have asked for a more memorable night!

When we heard through the grapevine that DJ Haymaker was the DJ we “had to have” for our wedding, we had no idea how true these statements would end up being. Jeff Hay genuinely made our wedding day the day we always hoped it would be; fun, organized, and incredibly memorable. He worked with us patiently throughout our entire 2 1/2 year engagement (even though we were planning from afar) and provided guidance for almost all of the decisions along the way. Jeff is kind, caring and fun. He made every effort to get to know us leading up to our wedding, and as our MC, made sure the room was full of laughter and smiles the entire evening. As our DJ, he kept the room dancing and the dance floor was packed until the very end of the night.

Meeting with him a few days before our wedding calmed my every nerve. He worked closely with all of our vendors and our venue to ensure the day ran smoothly behind the scenes, so we didn’t have a single worry and could enjoy every aspect of our day.

Jeff truly helped us put together a day that our family and friends have repeatedly said was the “best wedding ever!!”.

He is incredible at what he does, and we can’t thank Jeff enough for the care and effort he put into making our wedding one of the best days of our lives.

Kim & I got married this past weekend on August 11th and Jeff was our DJ & MC.
Hands down he is THE best DJ and MC I have seen after attending over a dozen weddings in the past 20 years! The passion and enthusiasm he puts into creating the best entertainment for a wedding is amazing. Our family, friends, kids and most importantly us will never forget it.

I hired Jeff as my MC, DJ, and coordinator for my wedding day. This was the best decision I made for my wedding because Jeff played such a large role leading up to and on the big day. He offered me great advice for timeline, recommendations for different officiants, and was genuinely interested in helping to ensure everything would come together.

Jeff perfectly executed every song during the ceremony, and had every guest out of their seat with excitement as we played survivor. Throughout the dance he played a large variety of music to please all ages. I couldn’t believe how many people were on the dance floor right until last call.

Jeff is incredible at what he does, all night and for days after my wedding, I was constantly told your “DJ was amazing” and “that was the best wedding I’ve ever been too.” It was a common consensus that he kept the dance floor full, had everyone engaged and laughing throughout the night. I am so grateful to Jeff for making my wedding the absolute best day and creating fantastic memories for everyone who was there.

Jeff provided the soundtrack to the best party we could have ever hoped for. He kept everything on track, and everyone on the dance floor. Everyone from Grandma to “party animal friend” had a blast and we couldn’t be more thankful. We can honestly say that our special day wouldn’t have been quite as special without DJ Haymaker! Not only was the party a success, but Jeff took the time to get to know us throughout the planning process. From start to finish, he helped us feel confident that we had the right man for the job, and it was a huge weight off our shoulders. We can’t imagine our wedding day without Jeff in it!

Having Jeff at our wedding was the best decision we made. We wanted to host an event that was classy, FUN, and well organized, and he played a role in allowing us to host exactly that. From having someone watching the time and leading us through the day and night, to having one of the most rocking parties on the dance floor, it was absolutely the best day of our lives. I am so glad to say that we had such little stress about the entire event thanks to us knowing we were in good hands. He provided us with exactly what we requested with music for the party, he smoothly maneuvered our schedule throughout the entire event, and the games and costumes that he threw in were icing on the cake. The day after our wedding we got compliment after compliment about our wedding being THE BEST WEDDING EVER! Thanks Jeff for being there for us and helping us host such an amazing party! I would recommend to anyone who wants a stressfree rocking wedding/event. The only negative result of having Jeff as our DJ was the fact that my feet hurt for three days after due to the fact that I literally could not leave the dance floor because I was having so much fun!! THANK YOU JEFF!!!

My husband, Derek and I got married on Saturday, July 8, 2017. I had been to another wedding before that I remembered being so much fun. The reason for that was they had Jeff as their MC/DJ and it was the best wedding I had ever been to. I knew that when my special day came along I HAD to have Jeff as our MC/DJ as well!

We wanted our friends and family to have the best experience ever and that our wedding would be remembered as being very special and so much fun!!

Thanks to eff the music during our wedding ceremony was timed beautifully. Later in the evening Jeff was the MC/DJ at the Dinner and Dance and everyone was having so much fun with all the games and props that Jeff provided. He also made sure we had great lighting for the dance.

Jeff also provided a special music mix for my Father/Daughter dance and it was a great success!!
All our family and friends said it was the best wedding and party they had ever been to in a long time.

​My daughter, Nathalie and her husband, Derek got married on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

When they asked me to help them plan their wedding, one of the first things they mentioned was that they HAD to have Jeff, DJ Haymaker as their MC/DJ at their wedding!!

My husband, Bert and I had experienced Jeff in the past as MC/DJ at several Corporate Christmas parties. We remembered having such a great time at these parties and how Jeff was a great DJ and had us all on the dance floor!

As the Wedding Planner it was a pleasure for me and a comfort to work with Jeff and his assistant Jennifer! The communication between us was the best, emails and phone calls were returned and answered the same day, which is fantastic in itself!! Jeff gave lots of good advice and most importantly, Peace of Mind. He was there at the ceremony rehearsal and made us all feel confident that the wedding day would go as smooth as possible, which it did !!!

We had lots of family and friends coming to Kelowna for this wedding from near and far. We wanted them all to have a wonderful experience and we thank Jeff for contributing to this by providing beautiful music during the ceremony and for being the MC/DJ at the Dinner and Dance with fantastic games that made everyone laugh and great music that made everyone get on the dance floor all night long!!
All our guests said this was the best wedding and party they had been to in a long time.
We highly recommend Jeff, he is the best MC/DJ to have at any wedding or event!!

DJ Haymaker throws an awesome party and is an absolute blast! Not only is he a DJ, but an MC, wedding coordinator and entertainer too. After meeting with Jeff prior to our wedding day it was clear he had everything in hand so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our wedding day came and went and we were able to sit back and enjoy it all while Jeff ran the show. Our guests commented throughout the night how much fun they were having because of DJ Haymaker. The games he had us play were absolute crowd pleasers that had everyone engaged and laughing hysterically.
