Hi Jeff,

We just returned from our honeymoon and wanted to provide you with some feedback on our big night!

Our first impression of working together with you, came on our first call.  You were full of positive energy and seemed just as excited as us.  We were thoroughly impressed with your initial packages and were pleased that you made it more personal by trying to get to know us.  I think all bases were covered and it was a bit reassuring to us.  When we met for the first time, we loved that you took the time to hear our thoughts, provide your feedback and reassure us that you are happy to help us along the way.  Your follow was always fabulous as I know we weren't the best as being on top of getting back to you. 

Our wedding day was amazing.  Every detail was covered.  We loved how we didn't have to think about a thing on our day.  You were on top of everything, keeping the flow of the evening going with maintaining the interest and excitement of everyone.  We loved the tickle trunk of costumes.  We had some great laughs at the different characters.  All of our guests had a great time and there was a lot of positive feedback about you. 

Everyone loved you and thought you made the night a great party!

Thanks again for everything.  We are still smiling :)

Jeff absolutely made our wedding reception a dream! Because we were combining Western and east Indian cultures we were worried that our guest would stay separated and not talk to eachother. Jeff took care of that concern within the first few minutes and had everyone in the room in stitches just by introducing that head table. It only got better from there with different games and comments and by dinner time everyone in the room felt like they knew one another. We received complements all night on our amazing wedding reception, with special mention of our great dj! My uncle said he was going to throw a party just to have Jeff come! My husband and I have personally never had so much fun.

Jeff takes so much care in the details of the wedding and really does take the time to get to know the couple. Jeff and his wife even came to our traditional Sikh ceremony during the day! I have no doubt our families will be talking about this wedding for years to come. Thank you Jeff for making both of our families have a blast!! We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Hey Jeff,

Here are a few thoughts from our wedding…

The wedding was fantastic except for one thing: not enough time to dance to your awesome music!!! We are quite the party bunch and despite all the fun we had, it went WAY too fast!!!! ...mind you if it was any longer I would've passed out from being dehydrated or drunk!...or both!

Before the night was even getting started, some of our guests were saying how awesome our DJ was! By the time the party was over, several people thought you were a family friend of ours because you were so involved with the crowd. Everyone loved the games and your original ideas!

My brother even posted on facebook your company sign and a comment "I bet that 99% of the crowd would say this is the best DJ they have ever seen." It was an incredibly fun night and you organized things well!!

I hope you are happy to know I have already referred you to my friend who got engaged last week. She was at our wedding and will also be getting married in Kelowna. Her name is Janet Henry...so hopefully you'll be hearing from her soon!

Wow, what an awesome night!!! We cant thank you enough, we are still hearing remarks about how wonderful you are and how much fun it was!

We appreciate all the work you did and i don't just mean the music but helping me find vendors and people that were suited to our style, and you we bang on. You made our day stress free as you were kind of our wedding planner lol, the timeline for everything was perfect, the music was incredible and the games, were way too much fun!!!

I loved playing the newly wed game and survivor was hilarious especially since everyone was wearing one of your hats from your tickle trunk!!! The pictures are awesome. I appreciate you staying later than normal and i'm sure as long as you playing music there would have always been someone on the dance floor.

A few of our guests wanted to know whose side you were from as you remembered peoples name and you acted like you had known us forever.  I am sure there are a lot more things i could tell you but these are  i the ones that came to mind and i will definitely pass you name on to anyone i know i agree with all the other reviews you are the best!!!

Jeff was the best part of our wedding day! PERIOD!

Jeff took the time to meet with us in the months before the wedding to get to know us, and he also helped us do bios for the wedding party and our parents. Our guests have asked us if we did bios on everyone, because Jeff would learn our guests names and then would remember them all night long. Some guests asked how Jeff knew everyone's first names, and he is just that amazing!!!

The music for the ceremony was so us. We received compliments after the ceremony, saying it was the best ceremony ever! (We were going for 'Best wedding ever' in the reception department, and snagged 'best ceremony' too!!! Nick and I had a good idea of the music we wanted to have played at the reception, but we could not find the perfect first dance song; Jeff was able to find that perfect song for us!

We knew that we had a good group of friends and family that would have a great time at our wedding, but Jeff took the fun and the party to this whole other level of awesome! There were great ice-breakers that got everyone to know each other better, and our guests got to know Nick and I better too! One of Nick's Aunts said that it was the first wedding that she has ever been to where she felt like she got to know the us (the bride and the groom) better.

We knew it was a good party when our older guests (>80 year olds) stayed after 1pm, and our dance floor was packed right through to 3am!!! Our Aunt Helen (age: 87) raved that it was the best wedding she's ever been too, (she requested the “HUSTLE”, taught everyone how to do it, and danced so much that she could barely walk the next day!).

I have received feedback that we had the 'wedding of all weddings'! My Dad and his friends partied like they were 20. Our parents have been thrilled by all of the positive feedback they are receiving! When we first met Jeff he said that he would make sure that we had the 'best wedding ever', and our wedding was better than we ever imagined!!!

Our wedding was the 'best wedding' we had ever been to as well!!! Thanks Jeff!!

Hi Jeff,

Chris and I wanted to thank you so much for the amazing job you did at our wedding.

Everyone we talked to said it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. One guest said during the dance, "Wow, I've never been to a wedding like this before! It's awesome!".

At first I was worried the games would take up too much time, but they were the highlight of the night! Everyone had so much fun during Survivor and loved watching the Newlywed game. The dance was a riot, but remained classy and full of energy. Even my grandpa was up dancing!

We ended up staying until the very end. You also worked very well with our MC and played off of each other perfectly. You came highly recommended by numerous people and now we recommend you to anyone who is having a wedding or event. It was such an AMAZING night!! I don't think I stopped dancing for more than 5 minutes....! Generally, I only dance when I've had some wine... but I barely had a sip all night. Nice job! :)

We feel so blessed to have been able to book you for our big day. Thanks for helping us make our wedding so incredible.

As you’ll read in the letter – Kyle and I were blown away by you! Everything you did was AWESOME…for real! I couldn’t even come up with one tiny little criticism….everything was perfect. The music, the games, the hats, the timing…absolutely everything.

You made our wedding the best wedding I think a lot of people will have ever been to including us. We told you we wanted above all a fun wedding and one that was going to be unforgettable and you delivered that! It was hugely because of you that our wedding was SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kyle and I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

We just got back from our honeymoon in Mexico and we spent so much time talking about the wedding...well gushing really! We both said that one of the best things about our wedding was you! You made our wedding one to never forget...even in Mexico I was getting emails constantly from family and friends telling me our wedding was the best they have ever been to and one of the most fun nights of their lives....WOW, WHAT A COMLPIMENT HEY!!! and they all said that one of the reasons it was so good was because of the DJ...everyone commented how fun all of the games were....especially Survivor!! and everyone LOVED the hats and costumes you had in your little tickle trunk and said the music was perfect!

I really think if we didn't have you as our dj our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as fun and memorable as it was. I really cant say enough good things; you spent so much time with us in the planning process - getting to know us individually and our love story and using that at the wedding - it was so great and you always made me feel at ease and super pumped about our day. the first night we met you we left the coffee shop and said how cool you were and how we were so excited for the day and knew right then we absolutely made the right choice!

some highlights for me were the newlywed game -- which I know not only kyle and I had so much fun with but both our parents too - it was awesome that you included them to join in the fun. the questions you asked about us to the tables to find out who would eat first was awesome, I loved too how you had something special up your sleeve when guests starting clanging their glasses...we all know how monotonous that can get. The survivor game was definitely everyone's fav...what a cool idea!!! it got everyone interacting with each other and laughing -- at one point I stood up on the head table and looked around at everyone in the room - not one person wasn't laughing and looking like they were having a blast! now the tickle trunk --- SO AWESOME! it seemed everyone at some point had a funny hat on or wig...my 85 yr old Opa, my 5 yr old niece, co-workers....it was so fun!

and the music - i cant say that at any point in the entire night you played anything that was just ok...it was actually PERFECT! the dance floor was packed the whole night and you just kept coming with one perfect song after another - you read the room and knew exactly what to put on at what time. Kyle and I left at 3:30 in the morning and the party was still going because of you.

All I have to say is to all future brides out there - you are making a HUGE mistake if you do not get Jeff for your wedding! Jeff you are way way beyond a DJ - you are an entertainer all the way through - you have a special gift and are amazing at what you do.

I will recommend you to anyone I know getting married or hosting a party and I hope to PARTY with you again in the near future :)

Jeff,

We just wanted to thank you so much for all of the time and effort you put in to creating the best wedding that Ryan and I and our extended family have ever been to! You made the entire wedding absolutely perfect!!!!.

The wedding planning started one year in advance and Jeff was totally there with us the whole way. He met with us in the beginning and discussed not only music details, he discussed the atmosphere we wanted to create, the types of people coming to the wedding, and he truly wanted to get to know us as a couple and as individuals. He gave us advice on everything from photography, to rentals, to tips on how to plan a wedding. Jeff is so relaxed, and professional that he truly makes a stressful bride feel much more at ease.

A few weeks before the wedding he sat with us and went over everything...from ceremony details all the way to the end of the evening. He gave us a detailed timeline of what to expect and incorporated all of our ideas for the reception.

The night of the wedding came and he was there (in matching wedding colours I might add) with so much energy, organization and enthusiasm. He was our MC (which was the best decision we could have made) and he truly made the wedding incredible. He flowed so smoothly from each event and kept in touch with us the whole night.

He started by introducing all the wedding party with an anecdote for each person that he helped us modify, then we moved onto games before and after dinner which proceeded into such a great party. We could not have accomplished having such a fun wedding without you. One of my favourite games was the newlywed game and of course the awesome survivor game which involves all the people at the wedding whether they are shy or outgoing. They were both such big hits with everyone old and young alike.

The music was fantastic ...it was like he knew instinctively what everyone wanted to hear! From the first song to the last song the dance floor was never empty. We even had our 85 year old grandmother and 2 year old cousin dancing until midnight. Everyone that was at our wedding (90 people) at some point in the night came up and said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. It was incredible and he truly made our wedding the best day of our lives!!!

Jeff, thank you so much you truly fulfilled our dreams of the best wedding ever. I hope to keep in touch with you and see you at more events!!!

There is a reason why Jeff is booked all year. He's an amazing person to work with and had helped make our wedding reception a giant success, he will do the same with yours.  THANK YOU JEFF!

Months before the wedding we met with Jeff several times, my wife and I were getting overwhelmed with the whole planning, staging, and execution of the wedding. Jeff offered his help right from the start. His wealth of wedding knowledge and experience made it much easier for us. Jeff listened to what we wanted, suggested a few ideas of his own, and molded our vision into a night of experience that no one will EVER forget.

Our wedding had a very diverse group. Young, old, religious, not. To be honest, we expected a drop of attendance after the dinner, however, because of the games and entertainment, the people we expected to go stayed much longer. It was awesome. My brother in law MC'd the wedding, and Jeff was the perfect support and co-host. Jeff started everyone interacting with some games to break the ice... like the newlywed game and survivor. He has props and know's how to use them... His selection in music was awesome, there wasn't a time where the dance floor was empty, he played off the crowd, took requests, he had a little something for everyone.

Thanks again Jeff. You made our night into something everyone will not forget. It has been almost 3 months later, we still get phone calls from friends and family saying it was 'the best wedding ever! 'and how much of a great time they had, and we did too!

He is good with both a younger group or more mature people - (my friends are in their 50's and 60's). Everyone raved about him, his music, his professionalism, and no one sat down when he started working.

From the Mother of the Bride…

Jeff was a constant support to us in the planning of our wedding. We were reluctant to believe that he was there to help us organize our entire day, but he kept reassuring us he was there to help with much more than just the musical portion. He was always available with phone contact and he constantly encouraged us to make use of his experience and expertise.

The wedding was phenomenal. We had a wide variety of ages and interests at the reception, but Jeff's games made everyone feel involved and entertained. He orchestrated the introduction of the head table for the master of ceremonies and his format set the tone of humor for the night. His game Survivor really got the tables interacting with each other as they competed to fulfill his challenges.

By the time the dance started, everyone was fully prepared to have a great time. The ice was clearly broken and Jeff's medley of hats that were used in the games and dancing. The hats were a constant source of entertainment as people kept passing them around throughout the night. Even families with small children who had to leave early didn't feel gyped because they had so much fun while they were there.

As the parent who sponsored the wedding, I felt totally supported at all times. Jeff was constantly surveying the crowd and making judgements and adjustments about what was the best thing to do at the best time. Everything he did was coordinated with the family, the caterer, the wedding party and the MC. No one was anxious or in doubt about what to do when and because he was so in charge we could all de-stress and just have a good time.

I would highly recommend him--he is not just a DJ. He's a performer, an organizer, a supporter and energizer that will make your event one to remember for each and every guest that attends. Do not hesitate to hire him. He is truly the best. Thanks Jeff!!!

Jeff Hay has consistently been the number one requested and selected DJ in Kelowna since he started up his company. He comes highly recommended from Manteo Resort as he is a pleasure to work with leading up to a function and during the function. Prior to, he knows exactly what he needs from us and lets us know well in advance, and when he is onsite for the function he is extremely professional and helps guide us through functions when there are any last minute changes or delays.

It is amazing to watch him in action because even if he has only met the wedding couple once or twice, it feels like he has known them for their entire lives. He can step into the role of MC with ease and there is never a dull moment. For our Corporate groups, he is a great entertainer and gets the group involved as a whole and relaxed for the evening!

Thanks to DJ Haymaker, our wedding was a huge success.

Not only did Jeff provide assistance and offer so many great ideas at the beginning stages of the planning, he also offered his support all the way until the Big Day! He is not just a a fantastic DJ, he helped with planning, decorations, themes, Event Timeline, and even offered advice and suggestions on how to make the whole process a little less stressful. He combined our 'unique' and personalized ideas with his own extensive knowledge of Wedding do's and Don'ts, to provide us with a once in a lifetime memory to share with our family & friends.

People had commented as they were partying late into the night (and early morning) what a blast they were having! The music, as diverse as we had requested, was a focal point for us, and Jeff managed to incorporate everyones tastes as well as our own 'interesting' musical requests and make our Reception the best (censored) party that they had EVER been to. The games were fun and hilarious, and got every single person involved, smiling and having a fantastic time. From our tear-jerking first dance, to the crazy games that our guests played, the funky hats my son and everyone else wore all night, and finally to our hardcore, guitar solo-ing 9 year-old daughter, Jeff kept the party rocking all night long!

The comment I remember most clearly is "So who's getting married next?" lol...as if anyone could top our Wedding/Reception!

Thanks again for being a source of support & information, for listening to our needs and wants and helping us mesh it all together, for checking in on me (The Bride) throughout long months, and the day and night of the Wedding, and for being an overall, hands down the most super-fantastic DJ / MC ever!
