A little bit about DJ Haymaker...

My name is Jeff Hay, born and raised in Toronto, and a lifelong music enthusiast (attributed to Mom and her ABBA 8-tracks)… After graduating from the Recreation Program at the University of Waterloo, I was lured West by big mountains and big skiing.

I have been a mobile DJ since 1994 where I began providing music for weddings, parties, and school dances in Whistler where I was living and teaching children. After leaving Whistler, I became one of the most requested and referred DJs in Vancouver where I worked with the top DJ company in the city – Garry Robertson Music – (1-877-377-1294). After graduating from BCIT in Radio Broadcast Communications, I spent the last couple of years working at 99.9 SUN FM, the radio station here in Kelowna. As well as operating my own Entertainment company, I also host a BC Lotteries "Chances Game Show" night. I am now pursuing my other true passion - training to become a motivational speaker, specifically, I am developing a program/workshop to deliver to parents, specifically fathers!

I am a huge music fan – so when, at your party, your cousin’s date asks me, “you know that song, by that guy.. it was in the movie.. y’know.. it’s like “ba ba ba baa baaa” – I’ll know the song AND play it!

I sincerely care about the success of your event, and I will go to extremes to guarantee everybody at your party goes home raving about the incredible night!!

I honestly love what I do, and it shows in the energy and passion with which I perform!

You've hand selected the people closest to you on this entire planet, and my job is to understand your vision, deliver the great party, and create those memories and experiences you'll share forever.
